Hello! We’re Katherine and Mat Edwards, and together with our two young sons we live at Cider Cottage in the peaceful village of Swimbridge, North Devon.
We’re delighted to welcome you to our delightful one-bedroom annexe, Cider Lodge, tucked away in our garden. It’s the perfect cosy retreat for couples, solo travellers, or small families – and we’re very happy to welcome one well-behaved dog too!
You’ll have your own private space with access to our spacious shared garden where you can relax, unwind, and maybe even spot some local wildlife. There’s also private parking for one car right outside, and WiFi throughout the lodge.
From Cider Lodge, you’re perfectly placed to explore everything North Devon has to offer. You’re just a short 25-minute drive from some of the region’s most stunning beaches, including the golden sands at Westward Ho!, Saunton, Croyde, and Woolacombe – ideal for surfing, paddling, or peaceful coastal walks. The wild and beautiful Exmoor National Park and its Zoo is also easily reachable for hiking, wildlife spotting, and dramatic moorland views. Other wonderful nearby attractions include the scenic Tarka Trail (great for walking or cycling), Quince Honey Farm, and the stunning RHS Garden Rosemoor.
Whether you’re seeking seaside adventures or moorland exploration, Cider Lodge makes the perfect base for your North Devon holiday.
We can’t wait to host you and help you make wonderful memories here. Feel free to message us anytime with questions – we’re always happy to help!
Warm wishes, Katherine, Mat & family
